2. Wash your windows – dirty windows can actually cut down on the amount of light that enters and warms your home. With fewer hours of sunlight, it’s important to scrub those windows clean during the winter months to keep your home warm and cheery.
3. Dust fan blades – dust and debris build up on your fan blades over time. Simply wiping them down with moist paper towel reduces the amount of pollutants and particles being circulated throughout your home.
4. Replace your HVAC filters – this, of course, should be a monthly chore, but just in case you forget once in a while, be sure to do so!
